Next week I hope to tick one off my bucket list. I am going on the Caledonian canal starting from Inverness . I have wanted to do this canal for years and having been on most of the inland waterways in England am heading north before it's too late and I kick the aforementioned bucket or the Scots grab independence and decide, quite understandably, not to let me in. B-)
I fly to Inverness on Sunday (St Patrick's day) and as I like flying as much as I do root canal work I shall be shifting a few Guinness at Luton airport.
