In January we kicked off the New Year in the New Forest meeting up with Caz, Philip, Florence and Mathilda at our hotel, Passford House
Then a weekend in Grantham on my own-what a dump-visiting the birthplace of Isaac Newton and the famous apple tree. (See Chapter one in forthcoming book)
Then to Shropshire with Ady and Roy to have lunch with Bob and Jennifer late of our moorings and visit the fleshpots of Newport.
Poor Mike G finished up in Stoke Mandeville with a multi-busted femur. He is home now giving Judith the dilemma of whether to run round behind him all day or going out and catching something nasty. We wish him well. As we do Mac recovering in Orkney from knee surgery.
Some good news-CRT have agreed, after many years to do something about the quagmire that is our path on the Mooring. It has been awful this year so the works, programmed for the Spring are very welcome (fingers crossed)
